10.5 hrs in this trip I never felt waiting or tired. The train reached on time from Mysore. Few coaches were attached and left station @ 11:50 PM. 5 minutes delayed start. But reached Chennai on scheduled arrival 7:20.

The SMART CARD by Chennai railways came a handy. When I reached Park station there was a huge queue waiting to buy the ticket. I got my ticket in a minute and took the next train reaching home @ 8:30

New project...Same old problems

From Jan 1, I will be officially working in a ENUM project. This is a very interesting project to work with people like Prabhu, Manish around. This will give me an opportunity to understand IN services, Callp and ENUM RFCs. With all hopes around I am starting a new journey.

But with markets not doing well, it will be a tough call to get people motivated to get this working.

Bangalore - Chennai Train Travel.

Start point : Electronics City , Bangalore Time: 08:40 PM 12th Dec, 2008.
End point : Tambaram, Chennai Time: 07:00 AM 13th Dec, 2008.
Mode of Travel : Train/Bus.
Comfort Level : Good.
Total Cost : Rs.20 + Rs.201 + Rs. 33 = Rs. 254

This time I had booked the ticket in train 2291 - YPR CHENNAI EXP 2nd class sleeper. The train had a scheduled departure @ 23.26. I was planning to take the BIAL Volvo bus to reach KR puram railway station. The ticket would cost Rs. 70 from E'City to KR puram railway station. During lunch, my friend Rana suggested taking the Infy Bus @ 9:15 and it would cost me Rs.20/-. What an idea Sirji.

After ticking my new weekend checklist in office, I hit home @ 19:00. Completed a quick house cleanup and my fishtank and left home exactly at 20:40. Went to Brindavan Mess after a long time for Dinner. 2 Dosa and 2 Babes in the opposite chair made the dosas very special. Reached Infy Bus stop and took the KR puram bus stop bus.

When the Bus reached Hosa road, it rtook a deviation. After 25 minutes we hit the Marthalli Road. Learnt a new route today :). The Bus reached KR railway station @ 22:05 which meant a 90 minutes of waiting time.

This is what made my trip little tiring as there was no place to sit and night temperature was reducing. There was 1 engine fooling us 3/4 times coming and going with no coaches. @ 23:17 the Chennai Mail passed us and finally around 23:50 TR.2291 reached the station.

Into the train, I hit my upper berth and off I went to sleep. There was TTR ticket checkup in between. My mobile went off on the way. Around 5:30 the train reached Chennai station.

Coming out of the station, there was a Volvo Bus to Tambaram. I should not have taken this Bus as it went around Chennai. Also I had a long walk from the Bus to reach Tambaram Railway station.

It was overall a comfortable journey barring the waiting @ KR station.

No complaint challenge!

I can see the difference in my life after taking this challenge. If one can stay really focussed and committed, things will fall into place. When things starts to happen around you, its happiness around you. Complaining will only find a way out and real issues are never looked at. I am into day 3 of the challenge & hope to maintain the energy for the entire life.

SMS remainder for Outlook calendar meeting.

How about your mobile receiving a SMS alert for an important meeting. This idea flashed my mind when my roomie Ankur as usual forgot to attend one his technical session. Here is what I plan to implement in my SIP lab @ office.

Using SEMS - SIP Extensible Media Server and SER, we can integrate Outlook Calendar with the users mobile. We can trigger a SMS alert when the Outlook remainder pops up. Hope I succeed this time.............

The idea is ready!

Why can't I be normal?

Life is becoming really difficult for me. Very short moment of happiness and frustration kicks in. I am angry with people around me. I am no more concentrating on my work. My commitment to work has reached 0%. Who should I blame for my fortunes? It's easy to point fingers. End of the day I am responsible for my actions, future. I know my problems........ but search for solutions is making me more frustrated. I am trying to live in my past, ignoring the present and worrying too much about the future.

Me not delivering in the last few months is showing on me. I may act as if things are OK with my life. I have bigger problems which I know needs simple solution. For example I plan to reach office @ 8am but manages only @ 10am.

I am simply wasting my time. My style of living can get me no where. I am pretty sure my best day of life will come soon. Hope is all I have know

Whatever happens Life has to go on.

Mumbai must be shaken. India might not be a country to visit now. Home minister might change. New Leaders will take charge. But for that happened, we should be sitting thinking about. Life has to go on........

It was a good learning experience for me when I cleaning up the leaf used to serving food. One thing I noticed was the manner in which people close the leaf. If one closes it from top to down, it makes the cleaner's job easy. The cleaner's can remove the leaf easily. Great research.

Whatever happens Life has to go on

Indian Media which boast of itself does not have common sense. It took 44 hours for my media realise that live pictures of the Mumbai attack will pass information to terrorist people.

This was a chance for my politicians to get-together to fight terrorism. But instead we started pointed fingers. Will India change ever?

I salute NSG. They are real life heros

Soorya - A man who keeps improving by his each movie. The hard work, dedication he gives to his movies is simply amazing. Yesterday I watched Vaarnam Ayaram @ Forum, Bangalore.

I enjoyed every bit of the movie as I could relate it to my life. I am still waiting for the day to see my kind of girl. Bells ringing Raja Sir song background ......

Back to the movie, I really learnt that I should be giving enough care to my parents.

Value for money.

I was travelling from Chennai - Bangalore by a normal KSRTC bus. I paid Rs. 140/- for the ticket. When the bus reached Poonamalee, a couple with their little daughter boarded the bus. They were travelling to Hosur.

We stopped at the hotel for dinner and they ask me how much I had paid for the ticket. When I told the amount, they felt really cheated by the conductor as they had paid Rs. 140/- for travelling to Hosur. This is about 45/- extra from a normal bus.

They did their best to get an explanation from the conductor, but finally had to leave the bus with only disappointment of paying Rs.90 extra. A amount might be small to me, but I really understood the amount is huge for them......
